Blue Crown editor will introduce the precautions to be taken when processing double-sided adhesive die-cutting
What should be noted during double-sided adhesive die-cutting processing? Below, the Blue Crown editor will introduce to you that in general, when double-sided tape is cut, if the cutting tool is not adjusted properly or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the surface or bottom paper of the double-sided tape, and the fibers pulled out from the cracks will be stuck by the adhesive. The occurrence of cracks may be continuous or random, and may occur on one side or both sides of the double-sided tape roll. Therefore, before machining the double-sided tape, it is necessary to carefully inspect whether there are small cracks on the base paper and surface paper. Then, take a sample paper that has undergone the above inspection, peel off the base paper, and check again whether there are cracks on the paper and surface paper, because cracks are sometimes very small, It can only be discovered after separating the base paper and the top paper.
Check if there are burrs in the double-sided tape die-cutting process
The edge of the double-sided tape on the roll is smooth and undamaged, which is the basis for ensuring the quality of the double-sided tape. Therefore, before processing, it is necessary to carefully check whether there are burrs on the cutting edge of the double-sided tape on the roll and whether it has been damaged due to improper storage and transportation. The double-sided tape on the roll should be rolled down 4-5 times and its cutting edge should be carefully inspected.

Check if the edges of the double-sided tape are adhered and if the backing paper is missing silicon coating
Adhesion at the edges of double-sided tape or leakage of silicone oil in some areas on the backing paper can cause the paper to break during waste disposal during the processing, resulting in abnormal production. So, before processing, you need to take a piece of self-adhesive material that is about 1 meter long, peel it off by hand, and see if there are any edges or other parts that cannot be peeled off smoothly and uniformly. Usually, the adhesion between the edges of the face paper and the base paper occurs on a slitting roll of the entire roll of coated self-adhesive material, and usually only occurs at an outer layer of 7-10 meters. Therefore, when encountering adhesion at the edges of the double-sided tape on the slitting roll, do not immediately assert that the entire roll of paper has this problem.
In addition, it should be noted that the force required to peel off lightweight face papers (such as 60g/m2 and 80g/m2 face papers) is greater than that required to peel off heavier face papers. The lighter the face paper, the tighter the hand feel during peeling. Because of this, sometimes when die-cutting according to the shape requested by the customer, the double-sided tape chosen by the customer cannot be completed at conventional processing speeds.
